Families, Schools, and Parties come to Hunter's Honey Farm to Learn All About Bees!
Come learn how honey is made. Enjoy a hayride or forestry tour. Make your own beeswax candle. You can even bottle your own honey bear to take home.
Our immersive tour experiences are hands-on, educational, and fun for all ages. Interact with nature, learn about the importance of pollinators and sample fresh honey. Visitors can stroll through our grounds, hike our trails and explore the fascinating world of beekeeping up close.
We’re closed Sundays, and will not be able to provide tours September 14-19, or December 24-January 1. In addition, we will only schedule FFA tours October 19-24.
Reservations Required
Tour our Honey Barn, learn about bees and beehives, taste honey and watch candle dipping, honey bottling and (in season) honey extraction.
Bottle your own bear of honey with your personalized label to take home with you.
The Worker Special Tour combines the Honey Barn Tour, Roll Your Own Beeswax Candle and Bottle Your Own Honey Bear.
The Queen Special Tour combines the Honey Barn Tour, the Beehive Tour, and Roll Your Own Beeswax Candle.
The Drone Special Tour combines the Honey House, Beehive Tour, and Bottle Your Own Bear of Honey.
The Royal Treatment Tour combines the Honey Barn Tour, the Beehive Tour, Roll Your Own Beeswax Candle and Bottle Your Bear of Honey.
Our Forestry Tour includes a guided tour of our 65 acre hardwood forest, presentations of how we manage our forest and how we use our forest, plus tree identification.
Take a tour of the honey farm on a hay wagon. Minimum of 10 guests, weather permitting.
