We can hardly wait to see you this Saturday!! I just wish the week would go by quicker. This will be our third trek from Indianapolis. The first year it was just my husband and I, and last year, we brought our two granddaughters and a friend joined us. This year we are bringing our granddaughters again, as they had so much fun last year. Our oldest granddaughter, Lindsey, is looking forward to learning more about beekeeping, as she is a freshman at Purdue’s first high school this year. Thanks for creating an enjoyable time for us. We can’t imagine the work you put into it, but look forward to the Indian Creek FFA’s pork chops, buying honey, learning more about bees and beekeeping, taking a hayride, learning about recipes and taste testing, etc., etc… Also thank you for the $2. coupons we pick up at the State Fair booth, as that is very much appreciated!! I’ve shared your honey candy with my co-workers and blessed others with honey, including orange honey combined with peach tea to a friend who lost her husband. She told me she has thoroughly enjoyed that combination, like a warm hug. Bless you all with love!!
Thank you so much for the kind words! We are very excited to see everyone again this year. It is a lot of work but so worth it when everyone is here having so much fun. What a blessing you are to your friend with the peach tea! That sounds so good I may have to try making some. See you all on Saturday.
I’ve just heard about the event… and excited to attend. Is there a cost for food and activities?
Have falling off the emails from Hunters farm. Can you add me again.
Thanks,
Katherine Lawrence
I sure can, Katherine. Our Fall Harvest Celebration will be on September 15th this year from 10am until 4pm. I hope to see you there!
Will you be having that beautiful dulcimer music again & the hot cider? YUM!!!
That’s the plan! It’s going to be a wonderful time.
So excited to come and learn about keeping bees. Been wanting to do it for years and ready to get started by learning.
What are the prices for the different rides and admission
Hello Stephanie, there is no charge for any of the activities at our Fall Harvest Celebration except for the helicopter ride which is $25 per person. Hope this helps and hope to see you on Saturday.
