1/2 cup honey
4 Tbsp. cornstarch
Dash of salt
3 cups milk
3 egg yolks
3 Tbsp. butter
3 tsp. vanilla


Blend honey, cornstarch, salt, milk, and egg yolks together in 2-quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla. Pour into dessert dishes. Cool slightly and chill. Serves 6.
